Hale Moana, Unit #110 Kona Islander Inn - Kailua-Kona

The pool and BBQ facilities were perfect for a relaxing evening with friends. If I had to nitpick, the wall color was a bit bold for my taste, but I'd definitely come back 🌺

The unit is beautifully decorated. I loved that it was conveniently located near shops and restaurants, with a lovely terrace for enjoying breakfast in the fresh air.

The check-in process was a bit slow.

Loved every detail about our great 4 nights stay here. Room was comfy with a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control, and a microwave oven. Incredible location of the hotel in the center of everything...

The hotel is definitely recommended to all. Overall, it's handy base for exploring Kailua-Kona attractions.

There were a couple of spots that could've used a bit more cleaning, like dust and stray hairs. A few days without hot water was a bummer, but not a dealbreaker in the Kona heat. The air conditioner was quite noisy, cozying up to the morning birds was off the table unless it was turned off. The kitchen could use a vegetable peeler and a blender to really shine.

Perfect spot for solo retreats!

I loved chillin' on the terrace for breakfast each morning. So peaceful! Had everything I needed in the cozy room. The pool area was nice, just kinda crowded at times. It would've been great if the check-in was a bit quicker.

A kitchen sink in the bathroom is just poorly thought out!!! Adding a blender and vegetable peeler would make cooking much easier!!! The room could really use some updated decor choices!!!

I found some amenities like the pool area crowded during peak hours, and the check-out process could have been smoother. The atmosphere was inviting and relaxed.
